Moises Alou was hit by a pitch in last night's game, and after the rain delay, he was replaced by Damion Easley. Alou later reported stiffness in the calf that was injured. Also, Abraham Nunez was designated for assignment after the game ended. Randolph hinted that Nunez' replacement could be an infielder. Don't tease me Gump (a.k.a. Randolph) - is this the return of the 'stache ?
Is Alou headed back to the D.L. ? Who had 1 game, 3 at-bats, and a hit-by-pitch in the office pool ? You may be a winner...
If so, could we see Chris Aguila ? Val Pascucci ? Pepe Mangual ? (we know how Omar feels about older Latin players)
