Another Brave pitcher heading to the D.L.

Tom Glavine had to leave Tuesday night's game after three innings with a left elbow strain, and is headed to the disabled list.

(Pause to laugh hysterically, pop open one of your favorite beverages - CHEERS !!!, or say to yourself, WOW ! am I glad Minaya didn't re-sign this guy)

Glavine said he would probably return to Atlanta on Wednesday and have an MRI, probably on Thursday.

"It hurt from the minute I started throwing tonight," Glavine said.

Also, if you're in the mood to not stop smiling, John Smoltz had surgery, and his future is uncertain, to put it mildly.

Isn't it funny how with stricter drug testing, and amphetamine testing, that more and more of these 35-45 year old players keep getting injured ??? What a coincidence ???
