We just got back from the game tonight and I have to tell you I'm drained. Big Pelf gives the performance of his life against the D-backs ace that had already 11 wins just to have it all blown away in an instant from our big time closer .! Shea almost died tonight when that ball traveled into the night for a 3 run homer that took a game we should have won in 9 innings into extra innings!! UGHHHHH every game I go to is extra innings!!! Shea became silent for the rest of the 9th and 10th. Even cow bell man was stunned!!! I give kudos to all the met fans cause they stayed even after that terrible moment we all experienced in the 9th. ! Its like why does every game have to be worse then the one before it? Well we did finally win thanks to Mr Beltran who had enough! The mets needed this win !!! Kudos to Pelf!!! Kudos to Gump for letting him bat in the 8th and come out in the 9th and thank you Beltran for sending us home with a win!

I can understand coming home from that game, and not being able to go to sleep right away. Good thing you went to the computer first, and not the medicine cabinet, or the butcher block set of knives. It was that type of game, a Davey Johnson, 30 Rolaids special.
