Train Wreck…Beltran And Manuel Both Ejected...

Not sure how these things happen, but, as usual, just when you think the team has turned a corner, they fall flat on their face! What can you say about a game, when a ground ball to Luis Castillo base turns into 2 runs. How often do you see that happen? I don’t think I have ever seen that, unless it’s a throwing error. It was nice seeing Manuel take one, for Beltran, by being ejected in the 4th inning. You think having them both ejected, would spark more than the Shea crowd. Guess not, that would be asking too much. It's also so nice to hear Gary, on SNY, saying that a pitcher that had a ERA close to 13.00, in his last 4 starts, pitching the game of his life, against the Mets. That seems to happen a lot.

the ump was horible...I know we shouldn't teach our kids to argue calls w/ ref's or umps, but come on. Those calls were horrible. It was nice to see some spunk from a Met manager and even Beltran.
