What did Willie do with his first night of freedom ?
If you have a moment, go over to our friend, Adam Rubin's blog, and see what Willie did on his first night being home, away from the Mets. Looks like Willie, today, is a little upset about the way things were handled with his firing, but mostly he is being his classy self......

I know what Willie did last night..he got home and at 10:00 pm he flipped on Soapnet and caught up on General Hospital.
Chris Carlin, of SNY's "Loud Mouths" had a good point. He told Willie to keep his mouth shut, because the knee-jerk reaction, after Willie's firing, was that he was a victim, and that it would help him find his next employer. If he starts bad-mouthing the Mets, no future employer will want to see or hear that.
