Carlos Beltran & Fernando Martinez To The Rockies ???

Sports Illustrated and SNY's Jon Heyman, in an interview with WFAN's Mike & The Mad Dog, mentioned that the Mets asked the Rockies about all-star outfielder Matt Holliday.

The Rockies love Carlos Beltran, and offered their CF Willy Tavares + Holliday for Carlos Beltran, and the Mets # 1 prospect, outfielder, Fernando Martinez.

No, thank you.

I don't want Holliday, period. He is yet another stereotypical "Coors Field" hitter whose stats look phenomenal, because of the expansive Coors Field outfield, and thin Denver air. His stats on the road, change Holliday from phenomenal, to above average.

Also, Beltran should not be traded. He is part of the nucleus of the Mets.
