Damion Easley Taking Advantage Of His Opportunity…

Damion Easley, during Luis Castillo’s time on the disabled list, has taken advantage of his playing time, at second base, with a .459 average during a 10-game hit streak.

In June, Easley hit .340, with a .431 OBP, and a .480 SLG in 50 at-bats.

In July, Easley is hitting .441, with a .444 OBP and a .471 SLG in 34 at-bats.

Easley is making a strong case to be in the lineup, somewhere, whenever Luis Castillo returns from the disabled list.
