Jerry Manuel Wins Nine Consecutive Games, For The First Time…




The Mets extended their winning streak to nine games, with a 7-0 win, over the Rockies.


Jerry Manuel, who replaced Willie Randolph last month, never won more than eight straight games in six seasons as manager of the White Sox, nor did Randolph, in his three-and-a-half seasons as Mets' manager.
