The Mets held the Rockies to three hits, in Friday's 2-1 victory, following a three-game sweep of the Giants, in which San Francisco recorded exactly three hits, in each loss.
The Mets are the first National League team, in the live-ball era, to hold their opponent to three hits, or less, in four consecutive games.
Three AL teams did it: the Indians in 1968 and 1969 and the Orioles in 1974.
