Mike Pelfrey - The Stopper ?

If I had written those words last season, or in April, you would have thought I was insane.

Lately, Pelfrey is the Mets’ most dependable starter.

The Mets have won his last four starts, after losing eight of his previous nine.

He's needed tonight, to be the stopper, after last night's heartbreaking loss.

Who would have thought Pelfrey is being counted on to be the Mets' stopper ?
