Mets' manager, Jerry Manuel, in his post-game press conference, put Mets' fans fears at ease, by stating that he expects Pedro Martinez to pitch his next start (the 3-day All-Star break will help), and that Pedro's injuries (right groin, right shoulder) are not serious.
Pedro added, in his post-game press conference, that the scar tissue around his shoulder was sore, but, doctors looked at it, post-game, and he is cleared to pitch his next start.
Thank you, Jerry, and Pedro. I'll sleep better tonight.
