With the Mets looking for someone to eat some innings with John Maine being on the DL and the Mets not sure how long Pedro Martinez will pitch before he gets hurt, the Mets will be scouting how well Freddy Garcia pitches today according to the NY POST
They will have some stiff competition down there with at least 10 teams also scouting him. Also with Joba Chamberlain going for a MRI the Yankees will I’m sure be looking to overpay for his services.
