Billy Wagner might have thrown his last pitch with the Mets

He was signed for 4 years and 43 million before the 2005 season. Now the sun might be setting on the Mets closer who is going to have surgery .

We went from Brandon Looper to Billy Wagner. Brandon did a fine job . His last year he pitched hurt. When Billy was signed Met fans were happy that we finally had a genuine closer.

Now we have Luis Ayala. Which I have no problem with now. The Mets are 22-10 since Billy went down. When we get into the playoffs that's a different story.
