Mets go on Last road trip and need to make it count.

The Mets are in Washington for the last time this year. They have 4 games in D.C. starting tonight. The Mets swept them the last time they were down in D.C. but the Nats are hitting. Then it’s down to Atlanta for a weekend series of 3 games against the Braves. There are 14 games left in the Mets season 7 on the road and then the final 7 at home. With the Phillies sweeping the Brewers the NL East is down to a 1 game lead for the Mets. Now the Phillies and Brewers are tied for the Wild Card. The Brewers seems to be doing there usual late summer collapse.

Well the Mets need to make statement and come out of this last road trip with some big wins. The Mets this year so far are 2 games over .500 on the road. In there last 17 games on the road they are 12-5. I would like to see the Mets take 6 out of 7 on this last road trip but will accept a 5-2 road trip. Nothing else would be acceptable at this point.

The Phillies play the Braves and then the Marlins. After this road trip where will the Mets be in regards to the NL East and the Wild Card? Check out or latest Poll.
