As reported in the Winston-Salem Journal, Bobby Valentine is dropping hints he would like to return to the US to manage again in the Major Leagues. Valentine, manager of the Chibe Lotte Marines, is believed to be growing tired of Japan, and would like to return to the United States to manage. An American League scout is quoted as saying, . "I know he's sent e-mails to a few ‘future' GMs."
