How Many players will it take to play left field for the 2009 Mets?

in 2008 it started with Moises Alou then moved on to Angel Pagan. At the end of the season it was Daniel Murphy and Nick Evans. That is only 4 of the players that played left field for the Mets in 2008. How many players actually played left field this year? Does 8 sound like alot? not to the Mets. 10 maybe you say? Can't be more then 10 right? Wrong!! Its hard to believe but the Mets used 12 players to play left field . 12 !!!!!

Do you remember Brady Clark ? How about the find of the year Trot Nixon? . No one can forget that flash in the pan Andy Phillips!

Everyone is talking about the fact the Mets need K Rod for a closer and they need Derrick Lowe as a pitcher. Please Omar don't forget we need an everyday left fielder that doesn't remember when Shea opened ok?

Please don't rationalize that we can use a tandem of Tatis, Chavez and maybe if they re sign Pagan. I did some number crunching and took the players that played the most games and came up with numbers that are pretty horrible.

There are 7 players that started at least 13 games for the Mets . Fernando Tatis and Daniel Murphy played the most. The 7 guys totaled to 149 games which I think is reasonable for a player to play in a season barring an injury. Well our fill in players hit .275 with 9 homers and 65 rbi's .That is horrible if you ask me.

I'm not saying Manny is the answer to our left field problems but someone has to be cause we cant have 12 players in left field in the first season of Citi field. Please Omar we has Mets beg you to get a everyday left fielder! Please put that on our xmas list right next to a 2009 world series ring!
