Howard Johnson shares his thoughts after Mets lose on last day again.

Most of as fans had a tough time I'm sure watching our Mets fall on the last day of the year for the 2nd year in a row. I mean we did have the end of Shea celebration to soften the blow a little, but when it was over there was no more baseball for the Mets and no post season.

Well Howard Johnson has been part of this team for its highs and lows. He admittedly took the end of the season pretty hard. He is thankful to have many of his former teammates around him to help him get through it.

Ron Darling had this to say about it "Inconsolable" was the term Ron Darling used that day, and nine days later, when he recalled the moment. "He was really distraught."

Take a moment and read what else Ho Jo had to say about the last day of the Mets season
