Jerry Manuel deal is done. He had a conference call earlier today regarding him signing for 2 years and a club option for a third.
2 things I would like to focus on that he mentioned during this call one being ..
Minaya says he and Manuel will speak with certain players during the off-season, as early as the next few days, to inform them of ways they can improve for next season.
Ok want my opinion? Well you will get it anyway. Please Jerry don't bother talking to AAron Heilman or Duaner Sanchez. The only thing I want you to say to these guys is good luck you have been traded for the ever famous played to be named later. What can you say to these 2? Here is something, how about are you watching the playoffs? Do you see how these teams relievers throw strikes? You think you can learn that?
Here is something he can say to Jose Reyes. Hey Jose save some of your energy for September when it really counts!!!! You hit what 240 and scored maybe 16 runs the entire month.
David Wright. Great that you hit .300 and drove in 124 runs. Can you learn to hit a sacrifice fly when we need it.
Oh and for Carlos Beltran can you just tell him that he was Awesome this year. He was the only one who did anything in the last game and time and time again he ran through walls in that outfield to preserve wins for this team Bravo.
