The Mets have now started an auction on some of the items still at Shea. The plan is to offer certain items every month now until March. The auctions will run for about 30 days. So right now they have a bunch of items on sale from the ketchup and mustard holders to the Carlos Beltran banner that were outside the Mets store. Also one thing I wouldn't mind having is the wrought iron tree surrounds that have the Mets insignia on them.
There is 1 item that the starting price is bordering on ridiculous. That is the letter "S" from Shea Stadium that is on top of the Stadium. That is only starting at $2500.00. No bids on it yet
