Brian Fuentes NY is on his radar

Omar and the troops are at the meetings which should get under full swing tomorrow. The agency that represent Brian Fuentes is already at the meetings and is hoping to meet with Omar about Brian Fuentes. The Beverly Hills sports council which represents Fuentes says that they were playing phone tag with Omar Minaya and expects to have a meeting with him in the next day or 2. There is some mention that the Mets might be looking to upgrade at catcher. The Rangers have stated all there catchers might be up for trade. The Mets could also look into Jason Varitek but I doubt they will give him his 3-4 yr contract that he is looking for. His defense is awesome but he might be at his ropes end regarding offense.
