Former Met Suspended 50 Games For PED's

In an article on mlb.com, we find out that former Met, Henry Owens suspended 50 games by MLB.

Owen’s, who was traded with
Matt Lindstrom for Jason Vargas and Adam Bostick, missed all of the 2008 season recovering from right rotator cuff shoulder surgery.

Owen’s tested positive for Performance Enhancing Drugs (PED’s). When learning of this, Marlins President, Larry Beinfest said, “We are disappointed that Henry Owens received a positive test, and [we] fully endorse the discipline outlined in the MLB policy. We will continue to work with and educate our players to help prevent any further violations."
