The Mets Pick Two In RuleV Draft

According to Adam Rubin - NY Daily News, the Mets have selected a right handed side-winder,
Darren O'Day and Rocky Cherry.

Cherry was harvested from the AAA roster of the Baltimore Orioles, and O'Day was picked from the Angels.

The Mets didn't lose any players in the RuleV Draft.

Both players must make the team to remain on the Mets roster, otherwise, must be returned to the team they were chosen from. That's what happened this past year with Steven Register.

Darren O day is a Joe Smith submarine type pitcher that has tenditnitis. Hopefully he will be ok by spring training. What kind of anme is Rocky Cherry?
