Why wasn't I called to go down to Puerto Rico and interview Carlos Beltran? It would have been a tough sell to leave the frigid New York area to chat with the Mets centerfielder.
The Daily News posted an article that gets Beltrans opinions on a couple of subjects.
Beltran comments about the collapse of 2008. The disappointment of 2007. The flack he took after the 1-0 game in Washington where Billy Wagner made some comments about that he and Delgado where no where to be found.
He also has some words for the Phillies, not as boastful as the words he had last year.
It also seems that he is really enjoying playing and living in New York .
