It is very cool to hear from the Mets ace during the off season. He was interviewed on SNY about how he is doing after his hip surgery. Honestly with the launching of MLB network I have miss some SNY updated with the Mets. Last night MLB showed the Network feed of the Mets lose to the Cardinals in game 6. It made me miss Gary,Keith and Ron even more. The Mets last 3 years have had the worst endings to there seasons.
Anyway Johan is excited about the Mets additions in the bullpen this off season. He is happy that the Mets saw a need and they filled with getting 2 closers. Of course Johan they did it for you . I mean they saw how hard you compete even though that came in question earlier in the year when there was talk about you when you came out of games. To me when you went out there on 3 days rest against the Marlins on the 27th I think everyone who did not realize that you are a gamer was quieted.
