With the Yankees glut in the outfield Xavier Nady is back in the news and there is a small story from the Boston Globe that the Mets might be interested.
I know back at the trading deadline last year the Mets did show interest for clubhouse and fan favorite Nady but I do not see the fit unless they plan to unload part of there platoon in left or get rid of Ryan Church.
I like Nady for his right handed bat but I just do not see the fit this year
