Mets still might be interested in Abreu

It is amazing that there is less the 1 week before pitchers and catchers report to spring training and there is still plenty of fire power out there to be added to a teams line up.

Bobby Abreu is still holding out for some sort of decent deal. Adam Rubin over at the Daily News claims that Mets might be interested if Abreu accepts a deal worth about 2-4M. I doubt that he would accept that after the contract he just finished with the Yankees. If these free agents want to be in camp at that start of spring training some of them will have to start enjoying a piece of humble pie.
