Angel Pagan on his way to NY for MRI

The NY Daily News is reporting that Angel Panan is on a flight to NY to get his inflamed elbow checked.

Another person not showing up in Met camp today is Jerry Manuel who has the flu.

Pitching today in split squad games are Tim Redding and Freddy Garcia who will face the Univeristy of Michigan while Livan Hernandez gets on the bus to travel to Viera to face the Nationals.

Garcia, who has been shelled could use a decent outing here. Redding gets his first chance to pitch in a game this spring since the shoulder injury has sidelined him to this point.
