Niese pitched yesterday against the Cardinals and seemed to have a thing with the number 2 . He pitched 2 innings gave up 2 runs with 2 hits and 2 punch outs and 2 walks. As innings go up his run total better go down. He did strike out Albert Pujols with a back door curve ball. Something he needs to remember if he makes the team.
