Newsday is reporting that the Dominican Republic team has tapped the services of Mets super sub Fernando Tatis to take place of the ailing A Rod.
A Rod was taken out due to his hip condition and now the Mets might lose Fernando for the balance of the month. Fernando as of this afternoon had not made a decision in regards to playing in the WBC yet.
