Pudge makes his case for the Mets and other teams.

In front of VP of player personnel Ivan Rodriguez had a very impressive game. He went 4 for 4 and 2 home runs. Even Carlos Delgado was so impressed with him that he said he would be his agent.

Well as you know Pudge had a bad year last year he hit only .219 once on the Yankees where he was surrounded by talent. Yes of course he is putting on a show. He needs a job. As we have wrote about here that we are pretty happy with Ramon Castro. He just needs to be healthy. Castro is a cut up on the bench and in the clubhouse. I am not sure why Delgado is on Pudge's side but he might want to take a look around and question who might be giving him a hot foot next time on the bench as he covets Pudge. I am sure the quotes were taking out of context.

Pudge is looking for a team to play with so of course this is last chance to shine. Having Pudge is no upgrade at this point in his career.
