The Mets will be heading back to NY and will touch down sometime around 9pm this evening after they finished there spring training Florida schedule with a win 9-8.
Mike Pelfrey was rocked for 8 runs in 4 innings in his final tune up before he pitches the second game of the season. He also will be giving the ball when the Mets open Shea Nu on April 13th against the Padres.
The bullpen these last 2 games has been fantastic. They gave up 3 hits and no runs over 5 innings today and gave up no runs over 6 innings yesterday.
The Mets play the Red Sox tomorrow night at 6pm which will be on SNY. Livan Hernandez gets the start as Met fans will be leaving work early tomorrow so they can get there first taste of the new park!!!
