Mets pre-game & post game hosts Chris Carlin and Bob Ojeda an unlikely duo

With tonight’s exhibition game the Mets unveil there new park on TV as well as there New SNY pregame and post game show with hosts Carlin and Bobby O.

The Daily News had some good quotes from Ojeda especially his departure from the Mets coaching staff when it came to his questioning Aaron Heilman’s mechanics.

Carlin who is a noted Yankee fan seems to have annoyed many a fan with his lack of knowledge of the Mets and baseball in general. I really do not care for the guy and I wonder if this will change as the season goes on.

Ojeda has said that he never even watched games after he retired and thought sports center and what was said on them was “background noise”. It will be interesting to see the 2 of them work together on a daily basis. Plus I hope he can learn a little from Mr. Darling
