The Mets signed Gary Sheffield it was just reported on WFAN. NO details of who will be sent down. Sheff has mentioned that he will not go to a team that will make him sit. Tatis will be sitting alot more and we will see if Marlon Anderson gets cuts or Nick Evans goes down.

Omar on WFAN says Sheffield will be a guy to contribute . He is not guaranteed any playing time . He will be working to play in the outfield and he has to perform. Omar feels this is a low risk high reward type of move.
