Sponsored by Delta, David Wright and Derek Jeter will have a competition for whom will have the better batting average for the 2009 season.
Delta will donate $100,000 to the foundation of the player with the higher batting average for 2009. The runner-up's foundation will receive $50,000.
David Wright's foundation is the David Wright Foundation concentrates on health, emotional development, and education for children.
Derek Jeters foundation, Turn 2 Foundation, focuses on educating kids to “turn away from drugs and alcohol.”
