J J Putz went for a MRI and has inflammation on the elbow. He will be out for a couple of days.

Carlos Delgado has a bone spur in hip as well as the impingement . According to Adam Rubin Omar Minaya will wait a couple of more days to see if the new treatment will work for Mr Delgado .

Mets might be short handed through out the weekend .
