According to Adam Rubin Tim Redding is done with extended spring training and is on his way to Buffalo. The plan is to have him pitch one game with Buffalo and then join the Mets probably after they return home sometime during the next home stand.
Of course Ollie Perez might play into that factor depending how well Mr Ollie does when he faces the Phillies this weekend where he had has 3.15ERA against the Phillies lifetime.
There is no report regarding Tim’s mph on his fastball as of yet which would be of interest to see how he is progressing.
