Mets call up lefty reliever John Switzer

The Mets today called up John Switzer from Buffalo. Fernando Nieve will get the start tomorrow against the Yankees in place of John Maine.

The 29 yr old Switzer is 0-2 with a 2.13 ERA. He has 29 strikeouts in 25 innings.
