In a blog over at Amazing stories Steve Popper chats about the latest mood in the Mets clubhouse is one of survival. That with the Mets injuries that they just need to “tread water” until people come back.
Great!! While we gear up for the subway series the Mets are just looking to get a C in the grade books . If that doesn’t stink of giving up what will? Hey Omar you hear this ? Do something !!!! Have Jerry throw things around or make something happen. This is why they pay you the big bucks.
New York fans do not want the Mets to tread water ! When people have problems paying bills they don’t go oh yeah just try to stay above water. No they take the bulls by the horns and get that second job or do whatever it takes to make it work.
The Mets need to do whatever it takes to make it work. If it calls for $$ being spent the Wilpons have said in the past the Mets have money to spend . Or did they turn yellow cause of losing dollars to Madoff?
On the eve of the subway series I do not want to hear about treating water. I want to here about take the bulls by the horns and going for it! Who is with me here? Anyone?
