Pirates trade Nate McLouth and the Braves release Tom Glavine

The Pirates were busy even if the team had no game to play. The Bucs traded there star centerfielder Nate McLouth to the braves for Charlie Morton, left-handed pitcher Jeff Locke and outfielder Gorkys Hernandez . The Braves were looking for a centerfielder since there rookie star was just sent back to the minors the other day.

Also Tom Glavine was released by the Braves. He was due to get a 1 million dollar bonus when he was activated to the 25 man roster but the Braves felt like he did not have a major league fastball. Sorry but fastball and Glavine dont seem to gel.
