Who is Josh Thole? Will we see him soon? Latest on Nick Evans.

As usual Mr Adam Rubin with his weekly down on the farm report gives us Mets fans who salivate with young blood another cartful of great stuff.

In his report which you can read here He lets us know that Mets catching prospect Josh Thole seems to be holding his own with the Binghamton Mets.

Thole, 22 is hitting .351 with a homer and 23 RBI in 50 games. Not much on the power side but nice to see an average that shows a flair for at least getting on base. Will he be a September call up like Nick Evans and Daniel Murphy of 2008? Speaking of Nick Evans he is starting to hit now. He has raised his average to .234 with 5 hits in his last 13 at bats.

Mets are seeing some life out of young infielder Ruben Tejada who is hitting .383 in his last 17games. A infielder that is only 19 but I am sure the Mets watch him closely since there not sure the time line of Jose Reyes . Not that he would play much but could be use as a back up
?
