Oh boy are we lucky or what. The Mets actually won a game. Did you see Jerry's face after the Mets pulled out a 5-4 win against the first place Dodgers. He was beaming. Come on you won a game for the first time in close to a week . It is really shameful that we get excited over 1 win .
Give kudos to Jeremy Reed who had 2 hits and a walk. He had some decent at bats.
Also make sure you check out the play that All Star Daniel Murphy made in the 7th inning with a behind the back toss after the ball hit the bag. It will be on ESPN I am sure for a couple of days.
K Rod a little rusty gave up a homer to Manny in the 9th but got Andre Either to hit into a double play to end the game. Hey Omar man the phones I am sure the prices went down to make a trade since the Mets won 1 game!
Back in the trenches they go tonight with Livan on the mound.
