No team I am sure is looking forward to the 3 day respite that is afforded them then the Mets. Well maybe except for the Reds who lost 22-1 last night. The Mets losers of 5 out of the last 7 have 6 games to play, 3 starting toinght against the Dodgers and 3 against the Reds this coming weekend. At least we know the Mets cant be 10 games below .500 by then.
The team should use the All Star Break to work on there defense and Wright shuold skip the Al Star Game and work on getting his swing back to the way it was in 2008 and drop his gap to gap montra.
Omar better hope that the Mets win at least couple of the next 6 games or it might not matter when Beltran and Reyes are ready.
