Will we see Delgado this year. This latest setback might put it in jeopardy. He is back in New York after straining he oblique muscle while rehabbing in Florida.
He will stay in NY until he is pain free. The Mets have said it was not a severe strain but the minor league season only runs until September 1st. If he doesnt get back rehabbing in the next 10-14 days we might not see him at all. He and Beltran and Reyes do not have much more time before they might have to pack it in for the year.
