It looks like Mets pitcher Billy Wagner is set to return according to Adam Rubin
Wagner is scheduled to pitch today and Friday in St Lucie and then make his return to the Mets at Citi Field on Sunday.
The possibility of him being traded before the end of month is an interesting prospect. He is owed 2.75M for the rest of this year and a buyout of next year. The Mets also might not want to deal him though since he might be a type a free agent if the mets buy him out and then he could bring in prospects in next years draft.
I still wish he could hit.
