David Wright pulled up lame at 2B tonight in the ninth inning against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Wright, in his usual way said, "It's no big deal."
Jerry Manuel said he has a strain behind his knee, while other's thought it might be a groin. Wright said this sort of thing is usual during a long baseball season. Manuel seemed to think it's more serious.
Let's see how aggressive the Mets will be in having Wright checked out, and possibly disabled if need be. Their incompetent track record has spoken for itself. Will they be more proactive when dealing with their franchise?
