At least they cant lose 100

Another game and another loss. The Mets were baffled by Tommy Hanson tonight and lost 6-0. The team could not put anything together and as the ninth inning rolled on the first 2 guys Murph and Francouer swung a the first pitches just get the game over with it seemed as mentioned by Gary on SNY

Wright had to settle for a walk tonight while Beltran also had a walk. Hanson had his fastball moving inside on lefties and occasionally would drop a 12-6 curve ball. Why does Andy La rouche seem to have the Mets number? Is he the new Chipper Jones?

Hanson was drafted in the 22nd round . Not sure who the Mets got in there 22nd round but I dont see anything soon up the pike like Hanson. That's why I know they seem to go overboard with Pelfrey. When you look at the Phillies they have Hamels and J A Haap . Of course Hamels is having a tough year but when the 2 of them hit the stage they were ready. How much longer we going to give Pelf? Yes he has potential but how long do we have wait for the head case to get it right?

He isnt a # 2 starter. The Mets need to spend there off season bucks on a # 2 starter or at least someone who will eat innings. They can not go to St Lucie with the likes of Santana,Pelf, Perez,Maine and have Nieve Niese Figgy and who ever fight it out for the 5th starter. Get a #2 or at least someone like Marquis or Lackey so then if everyone is healthy have Pelf as your 3rd, Perez your 4th and let the entire roster fight it out for# 5 then at least you can have some decent options if there is an injury.
