Busy night for White Sox, Dodgers ,D Backs and Rockies.

Right before the deadline that allows players to be added to the team playoff roster the White Sox have dumped players even though there less then 7 games out of the lead for the division.

The Dodgers traded for Jim Thome and the Rockies added Jose Contreras. Thome has not played in the field much over the last 3 years so he will be coming off the bench most times.

The Rockies traded for Jose Contreras to sure up there rotation since they lost Cook to injury for the time being. Or he could be used in the bullpen.

The Dodgers added Jon Garland who is an innings eater. The d Backs are paying his salary so that looks like a good deal for the Dodgers.

The Mets? Will they add Josh Thole from Binghamtom and the Bisons won last night against Phillip Humber! oh boy!
