Howard Vs.Arvedlund

Last night on Fox Business, Author Erin Arvedlund, author of Too Good To Be True, went head-to-head against Mets Executive VP of Business Operations, Dave Howard.

Howard came out fighting, and showed tremendous aggression. Ms. Arvedlund didn't put up much of a fight other to say she had one source in upper management of the Mets who worked for them for two decades, and another source, and this was her opinion.

I only wish the Mets showed the same type of fight as Mr. Howard.

Although Howard clearly dominated the 'debate', one thing is strikingly clear to me: the Mets have a history of being less than honest when speaking of the state of a player, the club, and any off and on field incidences. Whether it was them claiming Willie Randolph was their manager, only to be fired the next day, the truth about injuries to Reyes, Delgado, Beltran, et al - leaves much to be desired.

Time will tell if Ms. Arvedlund's 'opinions' are correct.

If you haven't seen the exchange, see below.
