With Big Pelf blowing up early there had to be something for SNY boys Gary and Keith to keep them self occupied. Well they didnt have to look far with David Wright back in the line up with his new rawlings helmet. The minute I saw it I was like wow that thing is huge and makes David head small! Keith of course could not keep a straight face about it. He made a comment that said that with that on Wrights noggin it probably slowed him down trying to score in the first.
Not long after Wright came up for the second at bat it dawned on me that it looks like a Gazoo helmet. Well at least the Gazoo helmet had a hit and a walk in last nights game for Wright. I know that Wright will be wearing but it need some adjustments. When Wright had a awful slide into second base the helmet almost wound up in short left field. Later in the game Gary picked up on the Gazoo reference from his wife's texting as well as Keith Oberman.
Jerry mentioned that Gazoo will start on Wednesday but David Wright will not.
