Congrads to the Twins and Carlos Gomez- Mets-Twins connection

In a classic game that went 12 innings the Minnesota Twins beat the Detroit Tigers by a score of 6-5. Who scored the winning run? None other then former Met Carlos Gomez who treked across the plate after scoring from second on a single with 1 out in the 12 innning.

I find it pretty interesting that after the Twins won they were playing Mcfadden and Whithead's hit from the late 70's Aint no Stoping us now blasting thru the dome.

Now the Twins jet to NY with Ron Darling to Yankee stadium to start the division series. Also who got the win for the Twins? Bob Keppel was drafted by the Mets in 2000 and spent part of 6 seasons within the Mets farm system .
